Proven wrong by his 63% completion rate
Skewed bc he is only able to complete short passes due to accuracy issues

7 TDs vs 3 INTs.

If this were over 2 or 3 games I'd be impressed.

Hard to tell when the OL is playing matador blocking games and the running game is nonexistent and Crowton won't call misdirection plays to help the situation.

I don't think the running game is nonexistent as you put it. Not as good as it could be, but it was enough for your boy JJ to take the ball out of his own hands to beat UGA.

Isnt CS averaging 4.6 per carry over the last 2 games?

Yea, but you gotta look at total yards for the games. He had 95 against UGA, not sure about UF. It's definitely not stellar, but not exactly non existent.

They need to go ahead and finish fricking JJ up this year, and yalls comments help so keep it up, then put Shep in for the bowl game so they can have all of next year to frick him up.

Wow ... great stat. How many 4th downs has LSU run with JJ at QB? I believe he had 2 sacks on 4th down on Saturday.

I was responding to someone that said a 4th-down sack was the same as an interception (on any down). I don't believe too many people here actually believe that--esp. since it was applied specifically to J. Lee.

and probably worse field position unless you're one of the morons so scarred from last year that they think any interception WILL be return for a touchdown or at the very least past the original line of scrimmage. EVERY. frickING. TIME.

Lee is mind-fricked because he couldn't complete a pass to his own team.

I don't know why you all keep saying this. He set the NCAA record for most passing yard by a Freshman QB. Interceptions are part of the game. He just made more because he's young.

JJ has a 63% completion rate and 7 TDs vs 3 INTs.

So what was the excuse for all of JJ's sacks at the end of last year, since we had a good Oline and all?

Didn't see the ? but I think it might have to do with the fact that he was starting his first college game? Nah, it couldn't be that. BTW, didn't JJ win the most valuable offensive player in his 2ND GAME? Hmmm, I believe he did in the Peach Bowl.
________________________________________________________________________________

Yeah, he was sacked 4 times in his 1st start vs. ArKansas, but still managed to be LSU's leading rusher (net 50 yds.). Against Ga. Tech, he was sacked twice for 12 yds. lost, but still had 25 net rush. yds.

His passing line in the GT game was: 16-25, 142 yds., 1 TD, O int. Not bad for an 18-year-old starting his 2nd game (in Atlanta, no less), and good enough to earn the Offensive MVP of the Chick-fil-A Bowl. It used to be called the Peach Bowl, and was re-named a few yrs. ago (after we smoked Miami in 2005).
