re: So, now LSU has 2 mind-fricked QBs?

LSU has done quite well (5-1) by not turning the ball over much and getting turnovers.
We were 5-1 last year even with the turnovers. And there is plent of downfield routes that are open for JJ to get to, there have been numerous replays showing were Jj just needs to unload instead of holding it. It's like he can't throw without the receiver being completely open, which almost never happens in major college football.

63% completion rate

many times passes are thrown low based upon where the defender is
Maybe so but not in this case. JJ is an inaccurate passer.

Ask Mark Sanchez of the Jets now about that for example when in the pros Sharper ran back one 90+ yards for the Saints.
So JJ does nothing wrong in this whole scenario? He doesn't hold the ball too long and lock on to receivers (mainly LaFell)?

Utter nonsense when "someone" might be a defender who could run the throw back for 6 points. Sorry, been there, done that last season.
Wow ... down 10 points in the 4th quarter and taking a sack on 4th down is better than risking a pick-6. Nice logic there.

So what was the excuse for all of JJ's sacks at the end of last year, since we had a good Oline and all?
Didn't see the ? but I think it might have to do with the fact that he was starting his first college game? Nah, it couldn't be that. BTW, didn't JJ win the most valuable offensive player in his 2ND GAME? Hmmm, I believe he did in the Peach Bowl.

Where are these posts? You've never said that in a thread that I've participated in.
I can just put something in a quote and say I've said it.

I admit it is hard to resist observing blatant ignorance like yours. Sort of like not looking at the car wreck by the side of the road I guess.

So would you say that the JJ we have this year is the same one that was MVP of the Peach Bowl?

I was at the UF game, and not once do I remember seeing a defender laying down on the ground.
Uh, Einstein, you wouldn't want to throw the pass low if the defender was near the ground.

5-1 with a much, much better OL last year. Oh, and 6 games in the schedule was easier...no Washington which is better than any OOC game last year and only 3 SEC games in the first 6 instead of 4 out of 6 this year. Much tougher schedule so far.

Proven wrong by his 63% completion rate and 7 TDs vs 3 INTs.

I believe the last time I mentioned the 30% was last night before today's mention. BTW, do I hear another challenge coming.
I will FIND at least one instance before today where I used the 30% number if you will leave the forum forever? Put up or shut up time but I know what your answer is going to be. BTW, I will find MULTIPLE uses of that number....accept?

Hard to tell when the OL is playing matador blocking games and the running game is nonexistent and Crowton won't call misdirection plays to help the situation.

Over 6 games that's pretty gawd-awful considering our WR talent.

Tomm's JJ pager just went off. I'm sure he'll be here within the hour now. It was somewhat quiet this morning. Thanks alot.
Did I call it or what?

quote:and still JJ takes 4 sacks in a partial game vs ole miss and 4 more sacks in a full game vs Arkansas. The trend continues this year with a different OL but you have yet another excuse for JJ that explains it right?
much, much better OL last year.

Answered a similar post by saying "with this OL, 7 TDs and 3 INTs is great after 6 games."

And Jefferson was the Off MVP of the Peach Bowl with an outstanding performance.

Gotta go run some errands but please, don't let me stop the mindless, delusional banter. But psst, saying the same garbage over and over, at the end of the day, those opinions are still trash.
