my opinion would improve because it would mean things like clock management, personnell, offensive coaching, etc. will have improved to the point that we're playing for another champonship. those things dont improve and its another capitol one fil a bowl. i really don't think we're too far away. and i don't hate miles at all but some things are just indefensible.

Miles, though, has been at the center of the fire since his hiring.

This is the part that I don't understand. People like you never gave the guy a chance. It was hate from the get go. Then, he wins a National Championship and what do you say....well, we won IN SPITE of Les Miles...or...we easily had the most talented team in the country and it took luck to win. That's nothing but hate. And you prove it by the above mentioned quote.

The FACT is, LSU is the 2007 National Champions. For anyone to question the journey vs being happy with destination...to me, that's the definition of stupidity.

Calling you a Saban supporter would be like calling the sinking of the Titanic a boating accident. I respect what Saban did here as well. He's a damn fine coach...no question about it. But dude, seriously, do you have a bro-mance with him or something? A man-crush maybe? Because that's how you come off. Why do you feel it's necessary to give him an e-blowjob everytime coaches are talked about? Seriously....

Ok, well if he wins 9 games this season, I say he should stay, if not, even you will probably want him out, so time will tell

If Verne Lundquist is questioning your coaching, then something is very, very wrong.

Saban was far from perfect (Yes it's true) but his coaching mistakes didn't make you scratch your head wondering wtf he was thinking. AS an example I use the 02 game vs. Arkansas, not so much going into prevent defense, cause that was the right call, but with a 17-14 lead all he had to do was get a 1st down and run the clock out, instead he ran up the middle on 3rd down, opting for a FG giving Arky the ball back. That was a coaching mistake, but you weren't dumbfounded as to what he was thinking.

Please don't start dropping logic into the conversation...not to mention an example to back it up.

I was dumbfounded when we lost to UAB....i was also dumbfounded at the end of the Iowa game....i was also dumbfounded in '02 when he left the starting QB in against UF even though we were up by about 28 pts, only to watch him get hurt. And even though i didnt care who won and they ended up pulling it out......i was dumbfounded when he decided to try a fake punt on 4th and 23 from his on 26 yard line in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

I do not hate anyone. I lost faith in Miles when he kicked RP off the team. He could already have one or two more if RP had stayed.

but you didn't lose faith in RP as a team leader? Les did what needed to be done, after several chances. Had he kept him any longer, I would have lost faith in Miles.

There were a lot of WTF moments with Saban as coach. As already mentioned, you have the UAB loss. There is also the issue of not sitting on the ball with a hefty lead in the 4th quarter vs Florida in 2002 that led to Mauck's season ending injury. There is also the Blue Grass Miracle which could have been a top 5 choke job in LSU history had Devery not caught the tip. There is the Oregon State 2004 opener, the 2004 season when he couldn't decide on Russell or Randall. The list goes on...

It is not a question of hating anyone, but rather having a strong love for the LSU football program. There is much disappointment when a millionaire coach can not seem to understand fundamentals such as clock management.

I'll say Miles is a better motivator. (Enter the Dale Brown quips.)
How he turned the Troy game around is beyond me, and I don't think for a minute we lose to the Utes.

Yea, but he's a winner. He builds powerhouses. He doesn't need someone to build it for him. 2 years in a row he goes undefeated in the SEC. Our boy couldn't do that even in the great years. He is a perfectionist, he will get in anyone's face, and no one in BAMA gives a shite if he is a great family man.
