Really? Because I knock you about your mancrush on Saban that makes me think Miles is great? I think very few coaches are great

The reason I am SOOOOOOOOOO critical of the man is that he makes $4 mil a year

bullshite. You are critical of him because he's not Saban.

. His teams SUCK an YOU KNOW IT!!! 8-5 and 9-4 DON'T CUT IT AT LSU!!!

If Saban had the same results the past 2 seasons here you'd be defending him against any criticism

once again you Miles lovers miss the point, Miles inherited a team loaded with good players, if Nick Saban had inherited the same, wtf to you think he would have done?

17 of the 25 players that went pro under Saban were Dinardo recruits....the cupboard wasn't exactly bare. The main problem with Dinardo's tenure was his assistants sucked (Tepper) and he refused to fire them...it wasn't the talent.

one thing is fricking for sure, Nick Saban built LSU, not the other way around, comprehende!

How old are you? Besides the 90's, LSU has always been considered one of the top programs in the country.

I think Miles has made a good hire in Chavis.
However he has NO confidence in either QB. NOT GOOD!!!!!

IF LSU wants to be a TOP 5 TEAM yera after year THIS is NOT the coach they need to achieve this. IMO.

It is difficult to tell if you are being sarcastic or reversing yourself - I listed 31 players who most LSU fans will recognize as either 1.) Superstars, 2.) Solid 3/4 year contributers, 3.) Talented but flawed, or some combination that Saban "inherited" from Dinardo. Some never played a down for Dinardo (eg Rodney Reed), and some played only minimally for Saban (Fred Booker), but the cupboard was NOT bare.

He was the starting RB at my first game in Tiger Stadium. There is a picture of me in front of the old tiger cage with Bobby Moreau and Chris Williams that was supposed to have Alexander in it, too, but they couldn't get him up that morning.

ETA - "Swift" Chris Williams, charter member of the original "Soul Patrol" remains the only scholarship player from my Alma Mater.

I agree.

good luck with that ever happening. Actually Miles is the only coach in LSU HISTORY to accomplish this over a 3 year stretch.

Bobby bowden is the only coach I can think of that did it for any sort of extended time, as far as I can really remember. Maybe Pete Carroll. Urban meyer has not done it.

I understand being disappointed in the last two seasons, we all are. But to expect top 5 every year is just plain crazy.
