And no LSU football coach can order those offseason reps. That's an NCAA issue. The S&C coach can - also an NCAA issue.

See. It is not that complicated.

Wow. The NCAA won't allow the LSU head coach to tell his coaches what to do.

Wow what. Are you so clueless about NCAA football rules that you are actually going to dispute this??

Too damn funny!

No genius. Not the S&C coaches. Not in the offseason.

They can't even make a cheeseburger for goodness sake. No wonder we are losing so many recruiting battles. People are getting honey chicken at FSU, and we can't get a McDonald's cheeseburger to kids. Then when they go to try to get a cheeseburger on their own, they are locked out of the building. So they call a student manager, who has the keys, and he tells them his arse isn't getting out of bed to come. Off course Moffitt, who is in charge of the team during the summer, doesn't care about this because he doesn't report shite to Orgeron. Orgeron can't tell him what to do, so nobody gets cheeseburgers. It's a whole mess.

Oh....and we are talking about cheeseburgers JUST IN CASE Burrow doesn't put up monster numbers as a QB, so Buckeye Joe has an excuse to make.

The NCAA now prohibits coaches from speaking to one another. Who knew?

You can’t admit when you’re wrong? It’s been proven over and over in this thread. Whatever you are desperately trying to prove you have failed miserably in trying to do so.

Why do you keep this horrible thread going? Seriously

Shut up

Players tell the head coach they want more access to the facility. Head coach tells SCC to open it for them. SCC tells head coach no.

Yea he is just plain wrong about what the head coach can do in the offseason. He can instruct the coaches that are allowed to have access to the players to do what he wants them to do. O and Moffitt are in lock step on what the players are doing in the offseason. Just can’t have any organized team activities with players and on the field coaches.

It boils down to lot of cheeseburgers. Cheeseburgers are important! Yes I’m being sarcastic

Can they talk to the head coach? He just said the coaches can’t speak to one another so I wasn’t sure if the players are allowed to do that.

I'm going to invent a jug machine that throws out football and cheeseburgers. I will donate at least 30 of them to LSU, but under the condition they have to be kept outside in the parking lot (because Buckeye Joe has "proven" to us that LSU didn't send out a press release involving usage of jug machines). This solves 3 problems in one. Jug machine access....check. 100 reps a day....check. Cheeseburgers....check.

You're close, but still not there. Coaches can now be on the field with players, but can't coach football things (a recent relaxation of the rules)

And a HC (or his football assistants) who schedules offseason Jugs reps is in violation. A S&C coach who sees Jugs reps as strength and conditioning is just fine. (under NCAA offseason rules)

Can the coaches eat cheeseburgers on the field?

He said it's been happening for at least the past 6 years. I would think that at some point a player would have told the head coach when they could and the head coach would have addressed it if he wanted to. But, apparently the head coach has no control over what the strength does, ever.

Maybe he's too busy trying to keep up with the cheeseburger demand.

Nope. Didn't say that.

Not as to anything that is construed as a football matter (as to opposed to a S&C matter.)

They can talk all they want. But, the football guys can't tell the S&C guys what to do in offseason workouts. Wow, NONE of you football badasses know this?
