You are the same geniuses who scoffed at Joe being a Top-5 QB pick in the NFL draft. But some of you are actually finally seeing the light.

You're clueless about WR workouts, and you're damn proud of it! Funny as shite.

that somehow that makes you football smart?

This thread was stupid when you made it, and I can't believe you are actually still arguing it.
Anyways, I know you won't believe me but I asked around to get to the bottom of this. Players generally don't have keys to get access to the machines. However if they request early enough (not like a in the moment decision), someone from the equipment staff will give them access to the machines for after hours practice.

So what you're saying is Reekeye is 100% wrong.

Yes. the players aren't allowed to have contact with the coaches but they can have contact certain types of support staff. These would be the S&C,trainers, equipment staff, etc.
So at the end of their player led practice during the summers, if Justin Jefferson walked up to Moffitt or one of the equipment guys and said "hey, I'd like to get some extra reps this evening", someone would be there to get the machines out and let him get some extra reps.
I have no clue why buckeye is out here willing to fall on his sword for some asinine point.

Would be great if you ask your source how many reps are actually getting done every day. 30 receivers (WRs, TEs, RBs) so 3000 reps a day is the right number. It is not even remotely close to that. And it absolutely should be.

It shouldn't be optional. And they should have the whole thing set up so the receivers can get their reps in 20 minutes or so - in and out.
Setting up for 3000 reps a day is a huge pain in the arse for the equipment staff. Add in DBs & CBs and it is an even bigger pain in the arse - but pays huge dividends.

Oh my god. Here we go with the fricking jugs again

Wait.. this thread is still going?

quote:How do you know the reps aren't daily? And there is no need for the machines to be available at all hours all the time so that players can fit that into their schedule. New flash, the players only have one big thing on their schedule everyday. It's football. If the number of reps they are taking during their summer led practices aren't enough, the players are more than welcome to stay afterwards and get more reps. I thought you knew that considering that's what Burrow and Jefferson did all last summer.
But the reps should be daily, and required by the S&C staff. These are 18, 19, 20 year old kids. The machines should be available at all hours the guys can fit the reps into their schedules. And should not require a reservation.
quote:My "source" is a buddy of mine who previously helped manage equipment. He isn't going to have the full details of the 2019 WR work out plan. But you know there is a directory and you can look up Moffitt's number and call him yourself. Or you can just talk to Joe Burrow again. You've always made it seem like you have some sort of connection to him on here.

Do the math. 30 receivers needing 30 minutes each. That's 900 minutes daily. 15 hours of total machine time. The machines would have to be out and set up to accommodate that many daily minutes... not "available upon request".

So what you’re saying is, you have no idea.
Do you know how many jugs machines LSU has? Do you have any insight as to what the daily workout routine as required by Moffitt is? What time do they start? What time do they finish? How many hours are they putting in per day? What are they working on specifically on a day by day basis?
You can’t answer any of these questions and yet you continue to spew your nonsense on this board as if you have a clue.

So now LSU only has one machine?

His very very first argument that he made up, almost a year ago now, was that LSU didn't have enough jug machines. It's morphed into this today, but that's where it started. In that same thread he also admitted to having no clue how many LSU actually had.
