So I’ve officially begun reliving the season

(skipping GA Southern game)
About 7:36 left in the 2nd quarter of LSU/Texas game. Texas is up 7-3.
So frustrating right now Joe not looking too sharp. Has thrown a pick and almost threw another

Why? You have 8 months, bro.

You can tell that we were still trying to figure out what worked and what didn’t on offense. I think about midway through this game is when Burrow figured out that no one can cover Chase 1 on 1.

Cuz wasn’t much to bitch about or be negative about in that game. You know, Tiger fans...

It’s all Justin Jefferson right now. Joe has had some nice runs

Or JJ
Or Moss
Or Marshall
Or Clyde

I agree. Plus it’s fun to remember back to that game. I remember wondering whether what we witnessed in the first half of that game was real or not. Should I let my hopes get up? Little did any of us realize that really was just the tip of the iceberg.

Okay Chase just caught his first pass. And Marshall back to back.
God bless Lanard Fournette. He had a series early in the first when he got the ball, but it was like 3rd and 19 in both of them

Yeah pretty much everybody of offensive significance touched the ball that last series (field goal) except for Moss

Listening to Kirk Herbstreit is really interesting. LSU just went up 20-9 right before the half and he comments on how Joe Burrow just carved up Texas on that drive and if they keep that up, this will be one of the best offenses he has ever seen because of where the ball is being placed by Joe, the defenders have no chance against these receivers.

And how funny is it to think back about the off-season trash talk and how confident (probably due to their pure arrogance) UT fans were that they were going to beat us. They just had no clue. Real LSU fans who followed the team in the spring and saw the new offense knew that the only thing that could stop us was us learning our way in the new offense. otherwise, it was good night Herman.

How is this frustrating when you know the outcome of the game and, more importantly, the season?

I know right lol
Believe it or not, Texas was one of the few teams that, unknowingly or not, built a blueprint on how to possibly beat this team: keep the offense off the field.
They had two very long drives in the 3rd quarter, our offense was on the field for what seemed like just 4-5 minutes (and they scored).
Our defense took a real hit check in 100 degree heat being on the field most of the game

Hey man! Put it on pause and wait for me. I live in Atlanta and can be in Auburn in a couple hours to watch with you. I'll bring chips, dip, and beer too. Just tell me what brand!
(Seriously, I wish I had recorded all this past year's games so I could binge watch them every weekend between now and the next kick-off.)

You must be one of those cats with insider connections. As best I recall, “real LSU fans” didn’t know what the offense would look like until the Ga So. game. Sure as hell didn’t see it in the spring.

I'm on the Florida game. Coach O just said "Welcome to Death Valley, where opponents dreams come to die. Geaux tigahs." Kicking off now.

Knockout punch just happened. 61-yard TD pass to Jefferson in traffic. You really don’t appreciate it until you watch it again in context. Burrow just got sacked, and Texas would’ve scored possibly a go ahead TD had we not scored Great stuff.

Buckeye Jeaux told us repeatedly that we would be scoring fifty to sixty points, with 500-600 yds a game.
"Real LSU Fans" scoffed and ridiculed him.
Miles derangement syndrome!
