The purple pants issue was resolved with Dan Kile. No big deal. For those interested, all state property including uniforms goes to a clearinghouse for use by other agencies. So prisoners were wearing kevin faulk jerseys in the exercise yard. But there was a clause that allowed for gift shops and merchandise therein. Plus if the gridiron club purchased uniforms snd let LSU “use them” then we could sell them as a fund raiser. You will notice there is a table with jerseys snd helmets for sale inside tiger stadium now. It’s a different era for sure!!
