Fact of the matter is that in the second half of the season, he was outplayed by a true freshman. I am not sure if he was just protecting his draft status by not playing to get hurt but he sure didn't have the same mojo the second half.
He has great physical tools, and great ball skills.

Those who are saying PP had a down year are stupid. No one was passing in his direction and when they did, he was shutting down defenders except for an occasional badly defended play but that happens to everyone.
He deserves everything he receives. TM is a beast but he is not better than PP7 yet. Give him another year first before you start to argue that point and even then, I do not think you will win.

Apparantly, the only people thinking PP had a down year are LSU fans. The national media sure doesn't see it that way after all the awards and accolades he is receiving.
