So if in February you were asked if ...

The Tigers would be in the World Series finals down one game with Poche and Lange lined up for games two and three, would you sign up for that?
For it to be a truly historic run it's only fitting we had to come back from two down in bracket play and now from two down in the finals. The tigers played tough against MLB pitching tonite. Two games in a row is no hill for a stepper.

Anyone who wouldn't sign up for that is lying.
But knowing what I know now, why take a loss to get there

Poche was full rest dude.
Asking his to throw on 4 days rest is not wise

This is the perfect response to those types of questions.

Arky blasted that first rounder. That guy isn't the number 1 overall pick next year. That'll go to the child molester. Just watch.

Poche has given up four runs on many occasions in his career. So if LSU would have lost 4-3 with Poche on the mound and you had to come back tomorrow with Reynolds and co. How would you feel right about now. CPM made the right decision when he decided to hold Poche and it is still the right position after the loss.

The mistake was not starting Reynolds. It was leaving him in when he had clearly lost all control

Tonight was the low risk high reward move. Throwing poche tonight with Johnny whole staff tomorrow was high risk.
Both ways you don't have a great chance of winning both first 2 games. If you save poche an extra day, you increase your chances overall with him at more normal rest. This isn't rocket science.
