We forget that Texas torched our defense as well. And that was a healthy secondary with Fulton, Delpit, Vincent, and Stingley.

Let's see where we are at full strength and not playing an air raid. We very well could be lethal on defense with Stingley and Logan back and not having to defend 70 passes a game.

To be fair the defense sucked in the beginning of last year, had more talent and he said that before we lost Logan and Stingley for a game.

They did give up 38 to Texas and like 34 to Vandy.... that’s not stellar by any means.

Of course. I am as well. But I’m going to reserve judgement for when we are healthy and they have a few games under their belts. It’s just one game. It very well could be an anomaly...a perfect storm of circumstances.

IF we're talking about facts of that game, we must also talk about the facts that the offense couldn't be stopped that game and the defense basically got lazy in the second half because the game was effectively over. Ole Miss never got within 3 scores. Nothing like this past week.
