My concern is the play ability of the infield. Josh Smith made some questionable decisions this weekend. He definitely doesn't have the ability that we are accustomed to seeing at that position as of late. Hopefully he comes around as the season progresses.

Our starting pitching was not up to snuff, but our infield defense wasn't either.

No one knows man. They’ve each played 3 games.

We sucked. No pitching. It won't matter how good of a hitting team we might turn out to be if at all but with that kind of pitching we don't even make the SEC tournament. ND will not be in the top 10 best teams we will play this year.

All this it's 3 games out of 70 bs...

Ummm we gave up 27 runs in 3 games....that's a tragedy at the box to occur....

You cant, I repeat you cant win without good pitching.....all this be patient bs... you cant turn chicken shite into chicken salad in a season.. either we have some talent hiding on the bench or we gonna get fricked pitching freshmans....not one of them is even close to our 1 or 2 last year when they were freshman.... only kid I saw that had shut down capability was vietmeirer(sp), the rest weren't ready....our Friday starter got during the week wins last yr....our sat starter is yet to prove he can start and give us 6 or 7 quality innings and on Sunday we have no true starter..... translation, we be fricked on the mound...losing season will occur this year...

First, relax... it's February. They were hitting the ball well because we were putting ourselves in defensive pitching situations on nearly every count.

Get down 3-0, throw it down the middle, give up a hit. Rinse. Repeat.

I think what we saw this weekend was just us playing down to an inferior opponent and not taking them seriously.

By not throwing strikes? That's odd
