Living in Laf, boy am I hearing it today. I think the best yet was...

"We beat you in Baseball, we were 2 points away from beating you in Basketball, we own you in Softball, It's time to take notice of the program 50 miles west of B.R. who will challenge LSU's athletic superiority in the state."

Anybody have any other good smack from UL-L fans?

Let 'em bark. They know they didn't have to face any of LSU's top 4 pitchers.

LSU will be playing in late May, and probably in June. Where will USL be?

They circle us on their calendar every year, we circle Omaha on ours. It was their version of the college world series.

Thank God I don't work with douchebags.

Most of the people in my office that are passionate about sports follow LSU. We did have one douche that used to brag on ULL over here. He quit because nobody liked him.

Tell them to save The Advertiser sports page until June. Then pull it out and see if they're still smiling about beating LSU.

I'm fine with UL-L talking smack. The won a good game and they should be proud of their team. It's baseball for crying out loud. Any team can win on any given day for the most part. Who expected Centenary to beat previously #1 Texas A&M? That is what I like about baseball (and college basketball for that matter). Now, if they would have beaten us in football.....I wouldn't be too happy.

Let them celebrate. As said earlier, last night was their world series. We can't beat them every year.

We can beat them at Zephyr later in the year to reclaim our stake of athletic superiority in the state.

You don't have to deal with the annoying ones on a daily basis do you?

They did face Louis Coleman, remember the 2 innings where the Cajuns looked liked they were at the plate with roller skates on

Once the Cajuns obtain athletic superiority over LSU, that will qualify them for all-you-can-swear servings of Verne Lundquist at 2:30 on Saturdays!
