Sloppy Bball game but we show great potential

First off, shout out to ESPN Watch. I forgot the game was on early and missed it but got to see it as a streaming replay. I think they keep games available for a couple of weeks after they are played.
Hard to criticize a team when they win by 22 but it was a sloppy game on both sides. We had 17 turnovers and they had 20. I also saw too little sharing of the ball. There were a lot of one on one plays and a lot of forced shots without being patient and letting the game come to them.
I guess it is hard to keep sharp when you play so few games. But so much potential. So much talent. We only shot 33% from three but for a change we kept Sam Houston to 25%. If Smart hadn't been so hot though it would have been a lot worse. Days and Cam both were forcing and not hitting many.
Looking forward to seeing Wade back though and this team playing much better. When everything clicks, out opponents will wish they hadn't shown up.

Sucks Wade won’t get a packed house vs his old squad. Could’ve been legendary.

With the PMAC these days, even in non-COVID times during the non-SEC schedule, about 8,000 is the most you would probably get.
The best I have seen the PMAC in the last number of years was when Wade got suspended and LSU played Vandy to take home the SEC title two years ago. That crowd was phenomenal and electric.

Today was like watching a pickup game.

Madking, I was getting ready to post the same thing. Ugly b-ball game. Thomas is a black hole and Manning missed a bunch of easy ones. Both guys will play better than today and Leblanc is a blessing. He plays hard and is a good defender. Something we desperately need.
