What game does last night's most feel like in your LSU fandom? So many times, games resemble others. This feels like an absolute anomoly.
I'll play along.
The last drive in regulation felt like the Earthquake game vs Auburn in 1988.
Both offenses had been clunky all night. It was do or die because it was going to be the last drive. There were a couple of 4th down conversions, in both drives, including the touchdown. And both touchdowns were passes over the middle into the north end zone.

Ole Miss dropping an 80 yard TD pass, missing a short FG and fricking up on 4th and inches on the LSU 5 were mistakes they made.
Not the last one. That was a defensive stop. There is no guarantee to get 4th and ones.

It was a Les Miles era game

Kind of like Alabama 2010 or, and I hate to do this so soon, Florida 2007.
Not precisely, but a team on its heels having to manufacture 1st downs out of 4th downs and the crowd being that cushion. Now, I was at Alabama 2010 and Florida 2007 and merely watched this one last night, but that's how it feels, just this day after.
(ETA: I don't disagree with others saying Alabama 2022 - probably more comparable, frankly.)

Worst case scenario is they score three points. But, that play was there. The left side of their OL blocked the wrong assignments allowing penetration at the point of attack.

Reminded me a lot of 2007 Auburn

If not for a bullshite block in the back call on the run play with the fumble the game would have been tied.
Also the replay on the touchdown should not have been reversed. I'm not saying it was a catch but the ref was like 3 yards away and called it a catch and the video did not have indisputable evidence that it wasn't.

Similar to OM 2014. Tiger Stadium wills another improbable win.

Ditto. 2014 Ole Miss game. LSU wills its way to a (10-7) win over more talented, highly ranked Reb team.
