And that's the part that nobody is considering--what if his arm is mush tomorrow and he just isn't himself? I hope we aren't expecting too much from a kid who just might not physically be able to perform at 100%

I would love to eat crow on this but IF skenes goes tomorrow it wouldn't surprise me if he really isn't the Skenes we've seen the past few outings.

He was amazing against wake but you could tell in the 7th and 8th he was starting to feel the fatigue. He got the outs but I'm glad they pulled him when they did.

That fatigue he felt in the 7th and 8th might come in the 4th and 5th tomorrow if he starts.

Sometimes you have have to let their nose get bloodied. They will be better and stronger men in the long run.

yeah if they're kids building a treehouse.

These are athletes who want to be professionals one day. They are beyond the point where they waste their time not being coached.

Sometimes I think people on this board think LSU players are 13 years old.

Nolan Ryan once threw 235 pitches in a game. Pitched in 3 days rest and tossed 6 shutout innings. He retired at 46.

Idk why this is even up for debate. Last collegiate game with a championship on the line. May never pitch a postseason game in the MLB. Nothing is guaranteed.

He’s a better man than you are because he’s not going to quit like most of the bleeding vaginas on this board

No, of course I wouldn't judge him poorly. Paul is already in the Burrow-led pantheon of LSU greats. It has been a privilege having him for even a year; we all wish it had been longer.

In the end, he's a 21 year old grown man who has to make the call. I personally don't think he'll sit it out.
