imagine the type of stuff this toddler must have to see and hear on a daily basis to have that type of language, disrespect for authority, understanding of what stealing is, understanding what guns are, understanding that shooting a gun at a person out of anger is, understanding how to steal and use a gun.
whoever is “raising” this child deserves to be removed from society because this child is a direct reflection on them in every way. I am not sure what options there are for the kid in the future or if it’s too late to retire a brain that far removed from reality…6 years old is absurd
That little punk will be killed in a gang related shooting by the time he's 12 or 13.

He needs SERIOUS psychological intervention, and he needs to be removed from his "parents". He might have a chance in a new environment, but it will be tough.
His parents should be jailed for life.

This is the Abby Zwerner shooting from 2023. Body camera footage newly released.
I suspect the teacher used the N word. We should acquit.

This is from a dlfew years ago. Believe the teacher sued and won like 10 million because the assistant principal knew he was a little gun toting monster and did nothing about it til the teacher got shot.

He’s now the responsibility of his great grandfather Calvin Taylor, a retired U.S. Army drill sergeant. That shouldn’t be reassuring to anyone as he seems to be the patriarch of this brood and looks to be no older than 55-60 himself and there were signs well before the first shot was ever fired.
quote:
When the boy was five years old, he took his mother’s car keys, started her car, and crashed into two parked cars.
The caveat, there’s always an excuse…
quote:
Social services got involved, but Taylor said several systems failed the boy long before Jan. 6, 2023. “He was a victim before that date,” Taylor said. “Because contrary to popular belief, I know they said that my granddaughter neglected him and placed him in precarious situations. But there were instances where she tried to get help. I drove her to certain places. My other daughters drove her to places to acquire help, even the safety plan that they put in place after the car incident. There was no follow-up.”
After Deja Taylor was sentenced to two years in prison for neglect in mid-December, Taylor told 10 On Your Side’s Andy Fox he was angry with his granddaughter and all the social service, criminal justice, and education systems that failed her and her son.

Dammit, his lactose intolerance flared up from his free school breakfast.

Exactly.
On one hand, an ex-drill sergeant is what he needs. On the other hand, this guy didn't raise a good family in the first place.

Most disturbing of all is the fact that he turned the gun sideways and then opened fire.

Grok
The 6-year-old boy (identified in court records only as J.T.) was not criminally charged because of his age. Under Virginia law, children under 7 generally cannot be prosecuted for criminal offenses. What happened to him afterwardHe was taken into custody at the scene, evaluated at a hospital/treatment facility, and later removed from his mother’s care.
He has been living in the custody of his great-grandfather in Newport News, Virginia.
As of the most recent reports (October 2026), he is approximately 9–10 years old and continues to live with his great-grandfather in the Newport News area. He enrolled in a different school after the incident.

Teacher Abby Zwerner: Survived serious injuries (bullet through the hand and into the chest). She left teaching, became a licensed cosmetologist, and in November 2025 won a $10 million civil judgment against the former assistant principal (Ebony Parker) for ignoring warnings that the boy had a gun. Parker’s separate criminal child-neglect charges were dismissed in May 2026.

So, he is free to do it again in the future? Perfectly logical. Just refrain from the consumption of milk products..

Well he was getting out of whatever he was in with their election of their "moderate" governor.
Is she "moderate" like our "moderates"?

Don’t give him any white milk because I just learned on another thread that white milk is racist. Who knew?
