To echo RB10, here's a thread I started earlier this week: LINK

I have you on that one because my life long is way longer than ours.

You got me by one degree. My MBA is from elsewhere.

I enjoy discussing the good and bad of LSU athletics with fellow fans.

I do the same.I prefer personal discussions because I think I get into better more informed discussions.
How often are discussions here rational, informed, unemotional, and productive?

Be honest now. What do most of them descend into? Vulgarity, name calling, horrible English, even worse spelling, agenda pushing and out right meanness. I have read very few genuinely informed and rational discussions here.

I freely admit that I know less about any and all of the programs than the people running them do. While I have some personal reservatiuons regarding Alleva, I would a thousahd times rarther he be running LSU atletics than anybody I read around here.
I admited that Orgeron was not my choice for head coach. But I freely admot that he knows more about football than I do and furthermore I would rather a thousahds times that he be in charge of the football program than anybody I read around here.

Now I am going to call an end to this lynch mob and get ready to burn some cow meat.

If you are honest with your self and others, the greater part of the criticism of Orgeron is based on the fact that he beat out your (plural) favorite for the job.

na. its that we passed over,LITERALLY,DOZENS of more qualified COORDINATORS to hire a 55 year old career dline coach. i dont even need to mention the dozens of more qualified HEAD COACHES we passed over, but i will.
