Orgeron being chosen over more qualified options, and the results of that decision to date, should bother any LSU fan that can walk and chew gum at the same time.

i think it's more people are irritated because you're trying to obfuscate the issue here

You're such a joke. You think you're ruffling feathers when, in reality, it's just people pointing and laughing at your constant high-horsing.

And your prancing around isn't high horsing?

Coach O inherited a rebuilding project thanks to some not so good recruiting in some areas by "Mess Miles". Miles's talent and character evaluation skills were also apparently deficient.

Lets take a look at your thoughts a few months ago when someone asked about us possibly making the playoffs this year.

Perhaps, but every time you take on Bama or some Big 10 team, it is essentially a war in the trenches. Bama has depth on both sides to where when one line rotates out another can come in and there is little to no drop off in quality of play. We have to build that same kind of depth to be able to handle those kinds of teams. It is also the reason that Bama is steamrolling many on their schedule. We held them to 10 points until we ran out of gas. If we had had more depth, it would have most likely been 3 points and it would have been a matter of winning on field goals.

One might turn this question around. How many of you have posted anything other than loads of criticism for each and every LSU football coach.

Uh... me? I was an ardent Miles supporter until he showed he wasn't going to change.

No he was literally the only one in a long list of potential hires that I wanted no part of. Because I have google and a memory that goes back longer than 5 years. There were others that I wasn't wild about but none of them even approach the amount of red flags attached to Orgeron.

What then is the issue? That some of you are sore because Orgeron is the coach and not someone else?

So you don't actually know what the phrase "high horse' is a metaphor of. Interesting.

And you didn't get your way. Too bad. How does daily weeping about that fact change anything?

When does one put on one's big pants and move on?

No, he issue is that what we saw Saturday looks an awful lot like what O's Ole Miss team's looked like and many of us are very much alarmed.

One sits on a high horse because one is better than others. Such animals are noted for prancing around.

Does that help you?

Complacency is the quickest route to irrelevance. As much as people like to pretend that fans don’t have a say in the matter, fans got Miles and extra year and they got Orgeron hired.

How does daily weeping about fans' concerns make you feel better? That's literally all. You. Do.

You still hold the title of the most negative and miserable asshat on this board...I mean, if you're being honest with yourself.

Now explain to me how not liking LSU's coach is high horsing. I'll wait.

You see, this an LSU sports message board. On such sites, fans of a given team discuss relevant issues and topics regarding that team. One such issue and/or topic that is relevant to LSU football is its first year head coach with a highly checkered past who was hired under the guise of not having to rebuild from scratch. He then promptly lost his first SEC game by 30 less than a week ago. Now, if you don't want to discuss said hire and how you believe it will pan out, you're free to spend your time doing other things. Nothing that is said by me, you or anyone else on here changes anything. It is merely a site for discussion.

Did that clear things up for you?

In his world, never criticizing anything LSU related makes him a better fan than those who do criticize. It's quite odd.

So then how does a daily recitation of this fact effect :a. the out come of the hire, b. the outcome of that game, and most importantly c. the outcome of future games?

It is done. Move on.
