One can say what they want, but Coach O inherited a rebuilding project thanks to some not so good recruiting in some areas by "Mess Miles".

I'm sure you posted this before the State game, right?

Let's see it.

IF this was a rebuilding project like what many are saying, why was O even hired? TAF is on the hook for huge future liabilities. The administration went small and doesn't realize the true wealth of the program.. see Wall Street Journal article from this week. Alleva went out and hired the equivalent of an upcoming Saban for basketball yet pulls a 180 with the football hire.

Who was yours?

Go look at every head coach in the country that has a winning record overall. Those are all my guys over Orgeron.

My guy was Fleck although Jimbo, if you could get him, was the obvious first choice.

You can throw both those guys out and O still isnt even in my top 10.

Have you ever posted anything on this site but self-righteous bullshite lashing out at anyone who would dare bestow anything but lavish praise on whoever the LSU football head coach is?

Jimbo, obviously. You can even take out the other obvious non-options.

Then you're left with (In no particular order):

Fleck
Gundy
Patterson
Fuente
Fedora
Macintyre
Mullen
etc.

**Etc being every coach with a winning record.

This has been beaten to death. There was a thread just this week that went several pages with plenty of more qualified candidates than Orgeron.

But, to answer your question directly, I think Mullen, Gundy, and Fleck all deserved to be considered over Orgeron, along with a host of other coaches. If we aren’t limiting ourselves to coaches with HC experience, there’s plenty of other names out there as well, including Lincoln Riley who is doing pretty damn well at OU.

Reasonable people may have a favorite, but that doesn't matter to us ultimately. Hold a search involving multiple qualified candidates, and I could've lived with the choice.

A rare hit of honesty . Thanks for that.

I can and have. I am addressing the people that didn't get what (who) they wanted and continue to throw these little internet tantrums.

It is so funny that my saying this has ruffled so many feathers. Truth can be scalding sometimes.

You're such a joke. You think you're ruffling feathers when, in reality, it's just people pointing and laughing at your constant high-horsing.

It doesn’t ruffle feathers, it’s just brought up constantly by the coach O idiots. Then someone will post a long list of coaches that were more qualified only for the same shite to be posted shortly thereafter. It’s not as if it’s difficult to throw the name of a coach out there that is more qualified than Orgeron. You could or the names of the head football coach at all FBS schools on a dart board and throw a dart and chances are you’ll hit a coach that is more qualified than coach O.

One might turn this question around. How many of you have posted anything other than loads of criticism for each and every LSU football coach.

If you are honest with your self and others, the greater part of the criticism of Orgeron is based on the fact that he beat out your (plural) favorite for the job.

You can't elevate yourself my tearing others down.

So how does that change the current situation? Your guy lost. No matter who it might have been. He lost.
How does your daily weeping change that?
