Last I checked it was three games we lost to them this season.
Also last time I checked Nick Saban didn't coach at any of them...
MSU - they had a moment LOL now what for that bunch
Auburn - they got us but we beat them like 5 out of 6 before last year
Arky - you got to be kidding - Arky

So LSU beating MSU for 20 years and losing once to them and then LSU beating Auburn and Arkansas regularly and losing to them both this season means all three of those teams are better programs?
First off I it's myopic view that only Bama is better than us.
I don't care If Miss state is 1-19 against us. what happened 18 years ago doesn't get us to the SEC Championship now does it?
And we shite the bed against Akr in 13, took a miracle last minute drive to win, when we should have never been there in the first place.
Auburn was 7 seconds away from a National Championship last year.
When was the last time we were?
Anyone that thinks we're currently the second best program in the SEC after Bama is delusional.
ETA: cue the "but look at all the players we have in the NFL" pumpers...

Its awesome how LSU "fans" make excuses when other teams lose but if LSU was in that situation and lost with 7 seconds left I guarantee all of you would still be melting and wanting to fire everyone.
But please, continue to excuse losses by other teams just to shite on your team more.

Losing almost 20 juniors over the last few years shouldn't have an effect?

typical pumper:
point out auburn's terrible year in '12 and harp on it as "inconsistency"; continually hang "our offense is dynamic" hat on mett's lone good year.

3,000 yard passer last year.
Where do you imbeciles come from?
People don't hate Miles, they are just tired of waiting for him to develop a respectable offense.

Maybe LSU needs to hire Sumlin. He can develop a respectable offense.

from delusional - who is better than LSU in football in all of college football right now today - as we ready to play Norte Dame ?
if your narrow minded you will only go by 2014 year - if you are well thought out I would give it at least the last 5 years !

Defense is the only thing for us to lean on, well, along with recruiting, which Chavis is deeply involved in as well. Too bad they have TV in Michigan.

Bama doesn't have that problem. Why are players so quick to bail on LSU?
Excuses are for losers, also rans, and people that enjoy "playing to second" and Tuesday afternoon bowl games.
What's going to be your excuse next year? It's all Ryan Perriloux's fault?

Beefense isn't sweating Chavis. He knows Miles is the brains of the operation.

We are not as good as Bama right now - is that the problem?
Ok, I never chime into these threads because there are so many... But here is my beef with Miles:
He's a great recruiter and a great guy. He wins a lot of games. He's a great face and name for our University and a good ambassador. But...
I'm looking at guys like Hill, OBJ, Landry, Mett, Peterson, Reid, Mathieu, Brockers, Riley (REPRESENT), Wing etc etc etc and I'm asking myself how did we not at least win 1 National Championship with those guys... And the simple fact is he game plans not lose in the 4th Qtr... And that is all hunky dory against teams like A&M and such... But our biggest hurdle is Alabama and they are coached to making sure they do not have to win it in the 4th, but if they have to they damn well better and they do a FAR better job doing that then we do not losing it in the 4th. And Alabama has, in my opinion, taken the 2011 and 2012 National Championships from us.
I do not understand how we have to hold off a team like A&M after dominating them, but we blow it against Alabama... It's mind boggling to me how inconsistent our wins and losses are.
It's frustrating to watch him consistently try and force a player into a system that doesn't fit his scheme... He is not flexible in that regard and I feel like our offense is so inconsistent because the schemes seem to stay the same no matter who is in, and that to me is our problem.
