And remember CLM is doing this as charity work
I don't downgrade his great record but he needs to get more focused for the money he makes for the money games (Bama 12, OM, Uga, Bama 13 oh yea, Bama 1/9/12).
Especially now they have a new deck to fill and keep us ticket buyers putting out big $ for them!
BTW, how many of the CLM lovers are season ticket buyers?

Against the teams that will keep it close we are in trouble when it comes to game / timeout / clock management if the game comes down to the wire

lol

They lost 3 games to eventual national champions. They lost to one of the best Arkansas teams of the last 30 years, an 11 win UF, and top 5 UGA all on the road. Lost to an undefeated and superior Bama.

Losing at Ole Miss was unacceptable. Getting pantsed by Bama in NO was awful.

Youre bitching about 2 bad losses since 2010.

I love how no other coaches have ever made a questionable call/mistake in a close game... ever. Watching several games in a weekend, college and the NFL, all sorts of coaches make all sorts of mistakes on that shite.

Really? Now we are taking out six wins in 2012 to make your agenda look better?

I don't have an agenda. I actually don't want Miles to go anywhere.

But, as was already asked, why aren't you questioning the OP about starting his timeline in 2010 to make his point? Probably because it fits your "agenda" a little better to leave out 2008 and 2009.

You can "throw out" wins like that for every major program.

No shite. I don't see what that has to do with LSU being 10-6 in their last 16 games against real competition though. I was just stating a fact.

I remember when Saban lost to UAB, and the fan base wanted to run him out of town. Weird.

Well, if Miles were to actually lose a rent a win, the fanbase would probably feel the same. Hell, Miles almost did lose to Troy in 2008 with a program that was on much more solid footing than it was when Saban lost to UAB in 2000.

An almost loss...No coach is more criticized than Miles for games that he wins.

Saban lost to UAB just like he lost to UL Monroe at Alabama. It's called building a program. Miles losing to Ole Miss in 2009 and this past year is inexcusable in my opinion. Especially with the talent at our school.

I actually agree. In the end, nothing matters except the final score. But, even the most shiny sunshine pumper can't seriously give Miles credit for the 2008 Troy game.

Exactly. However, in 2009, I think Ole Miss was probably a better team. They statistically beat us in that game. We were pretty lucky to even have that 1 second to not get a snap off at the end. The only inexcusable games Miles has had, IMO are 2008 Troy, 2013 Ole Miss, and 1/9/12 (for the shitty game plan, not the arse kicking).

ok

Saban loses to a shitty school, it's building a program. Miles loses to an SEC school, it's inexcusable. That's seriously what you think?

It's a rather shallow way to look at it, imo. Everyone knows LSU has underperformed the past few years. It sucks, but it could be worse

+1
I never understood why everyone was so focused on that failed miracle comeback against Ole Miss when the bigger issue was, why were they able to kick LSU's arse all game long?

I also ain't too mad at Les about 1/9/12. Sure he should've put in JL, but we all know it wouldn't have mattered in the end. It was good coaching to go 13-0 with that schedule and those QBs to begin with.

OM 2013 just sucked arse.

Med, I actually agree with your post. There have been a few unexplainable games in the past few seasons, and this year vs Ole Miss, with half their defense injured, was an inexcusable loss.

I am just tired of a lot of people thinking we are on some huge decline every time we struggle in a game. It is relatively rare that we do.
