We are talking competitive advantage in the SECW race given to our western brothers by LSU facing a Fla each yr and them facing a Vandy or Tenn or Kent each yr.

You realize under a 6-2 schedule there will be more scheduling inequity each year among divisional teams than under a 6-1-1, right?

The inequity would just rotate and eventually theoretically even out over a 12 year period?

The 6-2 theory creating more equality is a farce.

If you told an average fan outside of the SEC
No offense to you, personally, Tiger Authority, but I'm really tired of this line of reasoning. We are the SEC. Why should we care in the least what fans outside the SEC would think or do? We have the best football in the country and everyone knows it. Everyone admits it. Everyone has to concede it. So I say we should just leave it to the rest of the country to wonder what SEC folks would think about their actions.

I don't think Mark Zuckerberg worries too much about what the guys at MySpace or LiveJournal think about the way things are done at Facebook.

Cause we have been able to hold our own with Fla. since 2000, 6-6 or 4-3 since 05, that doesn't negate the fact that playing them each yr places us at a disadvantage in the SECW race when some of our western brothers are playing Vandy or Kent. or Tenn each yr.

Don't really care here.

My argument, here has been:

We play UF
Bama plays UT
UGA plays AU

All of these teams will be good, then suck, so it doesn't matter.

We consider the UF game just as fun (and important) as Bama, AU and Arky.

You can't base your argument on how it will be 'so hard' for us when UT will rise, some day, AU always has a tough one with UGA. So what's your point about 'our western brethren playing Vandy and UK,"????

With the permanent divisional rival, Bama plays a tradition rich team in UT and AU and UGA always play a close one. THen if, after that inter-div game, they play UK and Vandy, at least they got a tough one before those to easy luck =of =the =draws.

If you care about who MSU, Ole Miss and TAMU play, then you don't have your eye on the prize, here. BAMA, LSU will come out on top with an occasional AU and Arky. Don't spend so much time worrying about who MSU and Ole Miss are playing from the east.

have some pride in playing an illustrious team like UF, every year.

It'll get us on CBS more
recruits like the game
fans like the game

argument....done.
