He deserves the same consideration that you'd give any other coach. If the team hasn't improved by quite a bit next season then go off on him but you haven't given him time to recruit the depth that's needed.

What's "improved quite a bit to you?"

It has to be getting to the SEC championship, at a minimum.

A baseball player at Georgia allegelly said put the nword quarterback in and Fields heard him. The baseball player was kicked off the team. Because that’s racist if it’s true he can claim he did not feel safe at Georgia so he can transfer and not have to sit out for a year. He’s not pulling the race card for his faults brah.
Whatever, brah. Sounds like a bunch of horse shite to me. There is some student on every single campus in the United States that uses the "n word". Most of them are black. Would a white kid get the same treatment if he heard blacks talking negatively about whites? I seriously doubt it, because talking negatively about white people is routinely accepted in today's society. Don't be a delusional liberal. You know it's true.

“ slamming the coaches”

Expecting a better performance on the offensive side of the ball than what we are getting after almost 3 yrs being in charge Is a criticism that those in in charge at LSU should expect. For more harmful for LSU is another bad O, losses to teams such as Fla and A&M, and a total beat down for the last 3 games versus Bama that anything I say on a sports forum.

The past 10 SEC champs were in the top 4 in scoring offense in SEC games. It’s a league known for defense, but you have to score, too. LSU only hit that mark once in 2011.

You can stack the D all you want with your best players, but 29-0, 24-10 (ALA taking a knee), 10-0 shows they are pulling away.

We are doing nothing to fix the O. Recruiting was at its peak when O took over in 2016.

He’s also convinced fans that he inherited a rebuild, even though the classes he inherited were ranked #2, #5 and #2 nationally. On top of that he’s got ppl clamoring about an uptick in recruiting when his classes have ranked #15 and #7.

We have a worse offense, a worse defense, and the same 5-3 SEC record as we had in 2015, but we have improved .

They are so ate up with O and E being one of them that they refuse to see that we are not becoming more competitive in the SEC but less.

“Recruiting was at its peak in 2016”

Man you are dellusional, LSU’s recruiting started declining years before Orgeron arrived. Miles had trouble signing top ten classes after his 2011 title meltdown.

No excuses for Orgeron in 2019, he will have an experienced QB, Oline and receiviers along with the best runningback tandem in college football. If the offense doesn’t happen in 2019, it’s never going to.

In 2016 we signed the #2 recruiting class, the fruits of which the football coach here reaped this past season. That's decline to you?

LSU had one class in the top ten over a five year period under Miles after 2011, just one! Coach O is about to have two in a row.

This is patently false.

According to 247

2013 - 6th
2014 - 2nd
2015 - 5th
2016 - 3rd

You can use any service and it doesn't fit your criteria. You should probably just admit you were way off and move on.

Where's all of this talent? Why is LSU having depth problems? You are full of shite. I don't care what those numbers say LSU lacks depth in several key areas.

Where do you think Greedy, Delpit, Devin White, Kristian Fulton all came from? Thin air? And if you remember the football coach here asked players to leave the program, so ask him about the depth problems before you bring them up to me.

I see the tactics you use. When the evidence clearly refutes these ridiculous comments you make, you decide that the evidence is false based on nothing but the fact that you say it is.

Instead of using those rankings, how many offensive players got drafted in the 1st round of the NFL after 2012. How many offensive players in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 compared to Alabama and Ga., such as receivers, QB, Tightend, Oline, we know LSU can recruit backs. You’re right, something doesn’t add up, seems like if your getting top 5 talent on offense, it would be proven in the NFL draft.

2013 through 2016 were all top 10 ranked recruiting teams with 3 of them being ranked top 5.

That’s why it was so amusing when people started coming up with the idea that LSU was no longer a talented football team as soon as coach O started having bad L’s.

Just state the facts and leave the drama and childish insults and emoticons to the Trolls....um, you are a Troll, sorry, my mistake. ...Zachary.

Quick hit: Les Miles pulled in three top-five classes from 2014-16. Ed Orgeron has kept the Tigers competitive, but he'll will want to improve from his 15th-ranked 2018 class.

247 class ranks, 2010-18: 9 | 8 | 13 | 6 | 2 | 5 | 2 | 7 | 15

The current class is ranked 4th and 4th in the SEC.

That 7th place finish in 2017 came courtesy of Thomas the first GM in FBS. In the 5 seasons Thomas spent on LSU’s staff, the Tigers have finished with the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class (2014), No. 5 class (2015), No. 2 class (2016), No. 7 class and currently have the No. 13 class for the 2018 cycle with the first signing period quickly approaching.

Austin Thomas who Orgeron Praised for being able to flip 2 5* recruits and land 7 of the Top Recruits in 2017 now works for former LSU OC Jimbo Fisher.

Orgeron said it was unheard of for him to have that kind of success and said he is destined to be an NFL GM.

For the 2017 recruiting cycle, 247Sports named Thomas the nation’s 10th best individual recruiter. Pretty remarkable considering he’s not even on staff at LSU as a coach. Every other member of the individual top 25 recruiters list is an assistant or head coach.

That lofty ranking came after Thomas led the charge in LSU landing two five-star prospects from Tennessee — defensive back JaCoby Steven and linebacker Jacob Phillips.

How did LSU land the two prospects everyone in the nation wanted, including flipping Phillips’ Oklahoma commitment at the final hour?

“All Austin,” Orgeron said to James Bewers of The Advocate. “He got Jacob Phillips. I knew (Austin) was going to be good, but those results are phenomenal. I didn’t know we were going to get those results.

“Very rare to get two five-star recruits to come to LSU your first go around (at off-campus recruiting).”

“He’s very talented. He’s the general manager. I trust him in all aspects. He can have the keys to the car. I trust him in everything that he does.”

So we were using the recruiting rankings when you thought that Miles was struggling in the recruiting rankings, but now that it's been proven false, we're using NFL draft position?

ESPN must be smarter than we’ve been giving them credit, LSU recruiting hasn’t made their top 5 in years, the NFL draft proves who’s the smartest cookie here.

LSU is also top 5 in players put into the NFL in most time frames.

Don't know where you're going with this.
