but it's just dumb not to point out the glaring weakness on the offensive side of the ball.
Equally dumb is using it a blanket excuse for any set back on the offense. This staff isn’t the first to have injuries on the OL or young WR. Want to use the young WR excuse for drops in week 1-2, fine but by week 12 we should see some improvement and we did not

I'm sure that this meant something to you but it makes no sense.

Wait, are you saying that the WRs weren't dropping passes and that it wasn't a problem?
3.2% off Tua's Biletnikoff Bunch drop rate. C'mon Ben.

Just because other teams dropped passes too doesn't make it ok. Bama could afford to drop a few passes. LSU couldn't afford it. If it hits the WR in the hands he's supposed to catch it.
This is the worst excuse for bad play that I've ever seen.

OK Ben.
Merry Christmas, and hope you're doing well.

LSU had two 1,000 yard receivers with Mett throwing the ball, LSU’s offense in 2019 needs to show much improvement, no excuses.

“ are you saying that the WR weren’t dropping passes”
Good grief, there’s not a wide receiver at any level who doesn’t drop passes. The point of the chart was that within the SEC LSU had the second lowest percentage of drops. Which is actually a positive and should make you happy.
I guess it doesn’t because that wouldn’t fit your agenda of blaming the players and not the coaches.
You do realize that its the coaches who choose which players recruit and sign. Its the coaches who teach the players how to block. It’s the coaches who decide which players should start. It’s the coaches who decide what plays to run.
Blaming players is just silly.

This goes without saying.

After Giles fumbled for the first time this year the board melted down with multiple threads ripping into Giles and I'm willing to bet if I checked your post history you had your share of anti Giles posts.
I guess blaming players is just silly until they piss the board off enough then they're fair game.

I don’t know. Ask Orgeron. He threw enough of them under the buss the past two years.

If the defender slaps your right tackle on the arse as he passes by on his way to the QB because your right tackle isn't out of his stance yet that's not on the coaches.
It’s not? Who put the players out there? Who’s job was it to ensure that these players were ready so that kind of stuff doesn’t happen? It is the coaches job to get players that can do what they are supposed to do and to train them up so they have the skills and ability to do it. If the players can’t or aren’t doing what they are supposed to do, it falls 100% back on the coaches.

Steve is in his first year as OC. Coach O is in his second. I'm glad to hear you say that you're willing to give them time to build the team they feel they need to compete. As of right now they're playing the hand that was dealt them.
One more thing can you name the upper classmen on the offensive line.

“Board melted down”
There is a difference between fans having an emotional reaction to a play and fans blaming the OL or the WR or whoever continually in an effort to shift responsibility from the staff.

Whatever makes you feel better hypocrite. The Giles situation is worse much worse.
Nobody is trying to shift responsibility from anyone you just hate the coaches and to admit that the players aren't ready to play or playing out of position weakens your arguments against the coaches.
You're despicable and so are the rest of the haters.

One WR showed up to work with Joe over the summer after Joe showed up on campus. Justin Jefferson was the only one that could be bothered to go work with the new QB. Rohan Davey had a good interview concerning the offense, particularly the wide receivers on Moscona a couple of weeks ago.
Excellent point. And these WR's are pissing away hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. The pros are hitting 20 thousand plus reps on the Jugs machine in the off-season - So are most of the college WRs who are shooting for an NFL contract.
And I hold Sullivan more responsible than the WR. There should have been a fire-and-brimstone come-to-Jesus meeting between Sullivan an his WRs. No excuse for that lazy shite.

It looked to me like the WR group desperately needed some leadership. I don't know what the problem is but it definitely needs to ironed out before the 2019 season.
