I actually think he's right. On Days 1 & 3 there are only 100 level tickets available for purchase. On Day 2 there are no 100 level tickets left and it's the only day that you can actually buy 200 level tickets for.

So is it no longer $20-30 a day?

Right. But it’s been that way the whole time.

You can still buy general admission tickets for $20 on Saturday (or Friday or Sunday for that matter). You can virtually sit anywhere you want. It will not fill up. You can save money ($15) for a 3 day general admission for $45 if you plan on going all 3 days. I have been every year that LSU has played and there are always plenty of seats.

With the lack of travel for baseball (and most other things) in the last two years, lots of people are making the trip. You have a top 5 matchup. The bottom seats will fill up. I’m expecting more than 20k.

Like I said earlier- I sold a solo seat for 150. People are going to the LSU Texas game.

I would be shocked with 20,000. The ballpark features 19,201 seats on the lower level, 7,132 seats on the second level, 880 seats on the suite level, and 13,750 seats on the upper level. That is roughly 41,000 seats. The upper level will not be open, but the second level will be. Sections 214-224 is a reserved seating area that will be available for the 7:00pm game on March 5th only. The second level is club seating, but only about 20% of the club seats in the second level have been sold. It is hard to get an estimate with over half of the 19,200 lower level seats being general admission. Dont' get me wrong, I would love to see 20,000 fans and for the bottom to be filled up, but I don't think that will occur. Of course, your logic is just as good as mine and I could definitely be wrong. I do agree that more people may attend because COVID rules are ending. I am just guessing based upon past LSU Minute Maid games.

Ok so exactly how it always was. I know there are reserved seats this year as well but I was wondering where everyone was getting this higher prices from.

Wasn’t there about 14k last time LSU played Texas? That’s what I remember being announced.

I remember seeing 14-15k somewhere. Not sure how they track that with the day passes but I definitely remember seeing that number

You could be correct on the 14k, but I don't remember it being that large. Last time LSU played UT at MM, we sat in wide open sections near the LSU dugout.

I'll be at the LSU/Texas game w/ 2 of my son-in-laws and hopefully my son (if he can make the trip). I'll be sitting wherever my son-in-law got us seats. The women are taking kids/grandkids to the rodeo.
