Shouldn’t he have been waved home?

It clearly looked like a home run. I’m so confused as to what they were looking at.

If it hits the yellow and bounces back into the field of play without contacting anything beyond the yellow, it's a live ball. They made the right call and confirmed it via replay

Yellow line doesn’t make it homer.

Bouncing off yellow to the blue wall over yellow doesn’t mean squat? That’s dumb

It only hit the yellow and bounced in. The blue is like 5 feet behind the wall. It did not hit that.

If it hit above the yellow line, that is a homer. At least that is my understanding.

No, it’s not. The ball must clear the fence or must reflect off of something past the fence and bounce back into play. It was not a home run. The ball hit the top of the fence, not beyond the fence.

I recorded the play off tv on my phone. I slo mo it. It hits glove to top of yellow then bounces off the back blue wall then redirects back into play. You guys can listen or be dumb.
