Dudes a transfer and was paid to come here...a hired gun that isn't doing well right now

AFAIC if you give up amateur status and get paid , then you are 100% open to criticism...

Carraway at 2B

Just depends if you willing to sacrifice a for sure out for better defense. Carraway looks absolutely lost at the plate.

Jay Johnson is not on this board and does not care what all the couch coaches think. He is going to start Yorke if he starts Yorke. I find that Yorke is all or nothing. He didn't hit this weekend and yes, had the error Sunday but so did Milam and there was a 3rd error that inning leading to the 5 unearned runs. So despite his error, LSU still had chances to get out of the inning and failed.

Point is, Yorke is likely going to continue to start so deal with it. Much like Jordan and Braswell, hopefully, he will come through it.

I guess you forgot about Yorke’s error in the first inning Saturday that put LSU in a 2-0 hole??? And we lost the game.

He is not nimble enough to play good defense. I won’t even mention offense. Everyone else on the team that is underperforming has to sit for a while to regroup. Why does Yorke have different standards applied for him.

he hasn’t hit at all when it comes to SEC competition, and LSU has played 3 of their 4 series against the bottom half of SEC pitching rankings.

Saturday he was responsible for 3 runs, the grounder that went between his legs and the botched double play ball. Again some here want to talk about Yorke experience playing 1B as to why he should start over the others my argument would be why is a 4th year player making fielding errors over routine plays that a Juco 1B should make? It’s unacceptable.

those two actually brought something to the table, Before his slump in Omaha Thompson was actually a serviceable hitter with clutch moments and Braswell was a terrific defender.

the fact the coaches went to Braun to pinch hit for Yorke on a lefty/lefty matchup probably just proves he’s on thin ice and the experiment may be over.
