I know I’m not Pawl here but I just see him as more of a 7 hole hitter in this lineup with who we have.

Maybe down to 6th soon enough with Beloso hitting the ball the way he is

Watson has shown he has the ability to hit in the top of the line up. With that said Maneri has no issues shuffling the line up.

No, if Cabrera wants protection he needs Garza in 5 hole. If Beloso stays hot he could also hit in 5 hole

Watson still chases bad balls. It's frustrating.

Garza hasn’t proven he can do anything in a real game yet.

Garza currently hitting 455, behind only Josh Smith and Daniel Cabrera.

You're right, no production.

He is a career .300 hitter with damn near 30 doubles and 15 Homer’s.

He is not a 7 hole hitter in this lineup

I wouldn’t be shocked if Digiacomo doesn’t turn out to be a better player than Watson.

I agree, that’s why I said doesn’t turn out to be. When his time comes I think he will be special, though.

Wasn’t Watson awesome as a freshman

Watson is overrated as a hitter.

He got hot late his freshman year.

What does that have to do with him being a junior now?

It’s not a knock. I just feel like I used to think he was our best option in the lineup for a time period in 2017.

He got hot at the end of 2017. I’m not trying to knock Watson, he’s a good player. I just think he has a little too much hype that he won’t live up to. I could be wrong but if I had to bet who winds up having the better career at LSU it will be Digiacomo.

I mean he did have the 4th best BA on the team behind Duplantis, Cabrera and Bain in 2018, 3rd best OPS, 4th in HRs, 2nd in SB. For a sophomore slump, he was still one of our best options.
