O singlehandedly killed 7

18 was kinda dumb to begin with (does anyone really think mauck gave Hester his number? They were never even teammates) but I like what it stands for.

I sure hope so... It's past its prime. We're giving it to dudes who cant get open if my 8 yr old was guarding him, and offering it to freshman who've never played a down.

it's tired.

This is a perfect example of a negative minded LSU fan. Why does it bother you so much? I think maybe your trying too hard to be edgy and cool? Also, you're bashing a guy that chose to play for the good guys. He needs to develop strength in the offseason because he couldn't beat press coverage by the physical SEC corners. I'm hoping he gets physically and mentally tougher and has a better season next year.

To the best of my understanding #7 isn't really a thing/tradition that's given but really just a number requested by a player. It offers new players/recruits the opportunity to wear the #7 if available as a tribute to the great players they may have looked up to when watching LSU on TV like PP and TM.

#18 is considered an honor by demonstrating leadership and GRIT along with ability. Why would you want to get rid of that?

#18 is about leadership on and off the field. That should never go away. #7 is "best playmaker" or some shite. I really don't care about it, but it is a selling point for recruits.

So, people who don’t agree with you shouldn’t respond? You sound like a snowflake.
