If he pulls another kid who is cruising in the 6th inning ---- you betcha --- but I doubt he'll do that twice

How long before our pathetic post season play causes the fans to lose any confidence they have left in him?

Are 40+ wins a season and SEC championships not good enough for you? It's been 5 seasons since a NC, relax!
To answer your question:

No, Mainieri shouldn't be on the hot seat.

If he starts missing the regionals all together consistently then the confidence level may drop.

PM - baseball is different now, toning the bats down and scholly reductions have leveled the playing field and makes it that much more difficult to make Omaha much less win it, with that said you have to appreciate the job PM has done in adapting to the new style of ball and continuing to compete in the toughest conference in the country, winning sec games and tourneys is not easy and winning regionals and supers is harder now. The program is in so much better shape than it ever was under Laval. PM will retire here and it shouldn't be any other way and if a coach as respected as Dunn is willing to work with PM that tells you the level of respect he has in coaching circles.

Agree. The key is to have a good season and make the postseason. Get hot at the right time and be able to muster some hits at Ameritrad. Almost a crapshoot for about 15 legit teams.

We were one of the 8 best teams the last 2 years in a row.
A top 8 seed 3 of the last 4 seasons.
Just signed the #1 recruiting class. Signs are pointing up.
This aint the 90s anymore.

Yes! It should be in his contract. If you don't win Natty every 4 years or Omaha 3 of 4 years....your fired! Maybe the worst post of 2015.
