Man I remember we use to have a drinking game for Verne and Gary... Every time they made a big deal out of a short/easy completion you had to take a shot... If they talked about a short pass 5 minutes after it happened you had to take 4... we got drunk by halftime

I'm not. Until he proves himself, JJ has the right to start as long as keeps up the good work.

Yes because the LSU offense has been horrible the past 2 seasons... this season it was obvious a hindrance. With a better offense LSU would have been playing in the Sugar Bowl at the very least and probably something better.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not...but..
The player that gives LSU the best chance of winning should play.

Honestly, I want LSU to win. The play of a specific guy on the team doesn't change that. If LSU wins I really don't care if any one particular player had a great game or not. The individual is less important than the team.

Could you please provide a link of a shittier QB stat wise that won the national championship than JJ last year. How do you expect LSU to win with such horrible production?

Worse QB to win a title would probably be Craig Krenzel 149/248 59.4% 2110 Yards 12 TD 7 INT 140.9 Rating

bullshite. Open competition, no one should have the right to start. He shouldn't win the job because he was here longer, he needs to win the job because he clearly outperformed the other QB's.

How is that worse than:

118/209 1411 56.5% 7 TD 10 INT

That includes 3 TDs in the bowl game. 4 TD/9 INT in the regular season.

I asked for a QB winning the title with worse stats.

ETA: Sorry, I actually asked for a QB with shittier stats.

Concussed Andrew Hatch is better than Jordan Jefferson at any level of consciousness.

Yeah, Hatch and Lee were both better than JJ in the spring practices. Everything changes when the QB takes off the "can't touch this" jersey.

Hopefully things will be different with Mett. Like it or not, if our OL can't protect better, a mobile QB is our best option.

our OL played fine last season and JJ isn't exactly quick in the pocket. He has good speed once he gets going, but he isn't going to avoid the pass rush very well.

Offensive line played well last year. If you disagree, you will not have many people lining up beside you. No one blocked Fairly.

OL was pretty good last year... and if you are basing your assumption purely on what Fairley did then get in line. He tore through every offensive line even those better than LSU
