that was really good,i think of my father every year during football season,he died of cancer in 2001 and he loved the tigers, the last game he went to he walked a ways from parking to the stadium on half his lungs full of cancer but would not give up the long walk all the while out of breath just to see his tigers play.i am glad i got to make some games with him.again realy touching.GEAUX TIGERS!

My wife was in the GBFTL and I have a degree from LSU. We both live in Texas and probably will until we die.

My kids love LSU although they have no birth ties to the sacred soil.

I read your post and thought... I want to be a grandfather like that!!!

Thanks for the post. I have a legacy to build.

We are LSU. We can't always win the game, but we can always win the party.

"not unlike that of the universally recognized golden helmets donned by his Tigers."

CANARY YELLOW

"it's the overwhelming feelings of emotion that causes the grandson to shed a tear at the first game of every football season the moment the Golden Band from Tiger Land commences its performance of the legendary "Pregame" song minutes before kickoff.”

Yet many jerks still call GBFTL members "Band Geeks."

Great contribution, I'm not sure if this site would survive without you.

The GBFTL are not band geeks. You, however, are the epitomy of a band geek's douchebag.

Grandson - If you are not a professional writer, you should consider it. Your grandfather would be proud.

No shocker that you wouldn't appreciate or understand this elaborate piece of work. I'm sure there were quite a few words that threw you for a loop hence your frustration.

Welcome to TD. Excellant first post. However, you are way to deep for this crowd.
