Great story on Shepard's recruiting abilities last year! Didn't know the full extent of it until I read this. LINK

He just up and called me one day and said, 'Can I speak to Sam Montgomery,' and from then on we started talking about everything," Montgomery said. "We talked cartoons mainly — Sonic and Dragon Ball Z.

It was written by GG so it must be all false and anti-LSU

Maybe he could be encouraged to come back and coach/coordinate recruiting when his career is over.

Hey Doc, is that my Stephen Colbert with the SEC teams at the bottom of your post? Where'd that come from?

I'd bet Shep pulls mad arse. He's got football players talking like that? He's gotta make the panties melt

And you'd think a superstar QB would be relatively lazy in that game, with all that's getting thrown at him. However, I agree with you that he's obviously already in the highest league of "that" sport.

Of course he does. You mean you haven't seen this. Skip forward to about the 3:25 mark.

Well nevermind. I guess the link doesn't work anymore. For those of you who didn't see this back in the spring, TigerTV did a 2 part video piece on RS following him around to class and basically chronicling "A day in the life of super recruit Russell Shepard." Anyway, there's a part where he's sitting in class and apparently he forgot he was still mic'd up and was asking the girl next to him during class if she thought he was the black Tom Cruise. It was hilarious. I'm sure they didn't pass go and went directly to bed but RS still collected his $200.

Yeah that was his girlfriend he was talking to. It was still funny though, I'll give you that.

While being positive toward Shep, Guilbeau is giving credit to the top recruiting class to someone other than Miles. Miles was barely mentioned.

I just don't think that Guilbeau likes Miles at all and it shows. I don't think he's anti-LSU, per se, but he's definitely anti-Miles.
