So the players should stop talking to the media all together?

If some of y'all think what Shep said is bad then that further confirms that the lsu fan base is turning into mega pussies. Some of you need to stop the bleeding.

They will need ALL the material necessary...because LSU is gonna bring it this weekend.

This quote will not help AU one bit unless Cam walks out of the tunnel in TS on Saturday.

are you really such a dumbass that do not accept this ?
or maybe you either never played sports or were very good at them...coaches use everything they can as bulletin board material

LOL. Played lots of sports in HS and was a college athlete (not very good TBH), so I know about "bulletin board" material. Fact is this is a rivalry game pitting the defending champ and the current #1 team. Ain't nobody in either locker room needs anything to get them hype. You just a whiny bitch!

Shepard is a clown, and not even an above average SEC receiver. Beckham is much better.

Shepard firing up Auburn players

Of all people, why would Shepard say this? I could understand if it came from Ware, Mathieu, Reid, Randle, Montgomery, etc... but not this guy. He's been a bust in my eyes. However, I do agree that LSU has better athletes at this time. It should be about even in 2 years when Auburn has a chance to bring in 4 full recruiting classes.

It's true, based on overall talent

I tend to think Auburn has a lot of young, very good talent. They have recruited very well, about as well as LSU the past couple years.

While this is true, I think LSU still has the edge. There's a good 2 classes more of depth on LSU's roster from great recruiting. It should be around even in 2 years, with the advantage to us on offense and the advantage to LSU on defense.

They should be allowed to talk to the media in controlled situations. Miles should at the least have a stern talk to these guys about twitter and posting every random thought that pops into their head.

Auburn will fade back to a middle of the pack SEC team thus your recruiting will suffer.

This year? Next year? Noone has jumped ship this year from recruiting. I don't know if you know, but recruits don't really look at how successful a team is doing during the season. Plus, it's not like we're going to lose the rest of our games. We'll lose to Bama and LSU, with Georgia as a toss up. Should finish the season 8-4 or 7-5, with a chance at a bowl win. Then, next season, we'll return around 16-17 starters and compete for the west (with a final record of 9-3 or 10-2).

I just don't understand why it is such a big deal to some of you about what the players post on social media.

If you don't like it, don't read it.

People are only butthurt because the players are firing back at the white trash portion of the fan base that has been teeing off on them for weeks.

Good for them.

How to you see us doing next season after we return all but 1 starter on defense, and all but 3 starters on offense?
