I think he was saying...that even on the field with Tebow, Harvin had to be just as accounted for, if not moreso.

Full time never, I see Shep as a Florida like Percy H. Partime QB and wildcat yes. JJ is just to darn good.

I'm confused as to why people think Shep won't play QB at LSU...?

I guess just b/c JJ is young and Garrett is probably a stud too.

How can you possibly know this? JJ had one really solid game against GT where he wasn't really needed to do that much, an average game against Arkansas which we lost, and a number of games where he should have probably played, but didn't. How is this guy now annointed as a guaranteed success as a starting QB in the SEC. I hope like hell he plays great, and he might, but I have no real idea just how good he is. I saw enough to be optimistic, but the jury is clearly still out on how good he will be at QB.

As long as JJ is at LSU, no other QB will ever play unless jordan jefferson says he can play.

He's THAT good.

This kind of rational thought has no place on the Rant. In the future, please choose a side that is to one extreme or the other. Please make sure you have no idea what you're talking about, and base all opinions on hearsay, conjecture, and an overall lack of football knowledge.

Then his career would end at LSU. He's going to project the same way Harvin did in the NFL. Put the kid in multiple spots to get his hands on the ball. It's not that hard

Really? Just like Pat White's career ended in college? Or was he the #44 pick of the 2009 NFL Draft? Shep has been descibed as such: "Imagine Pat White...with Speed"

What odds do you give Pat White to play as a regular QB in the NFL?

Better odds than I give Tim Tebow.

Pat White has a great chance to make it as a QB in the NFL, good odds. Tebow doesn't have good odds at QB in the NFL.

Ok. I think they both have NFL careers, PW as a maybe a Kordell Stewart type, and Tebow as...a...a something.
