Shep on the bench next year

Pro style offense!! That is what I want to see. Incorporate more screen plays, play action, etc. Stay true to the run and use it to open up the passing game.

miles will never have an allout passing offense. we will still be a power run team first. whoever miles picks for OC will have his same mindset, or he would not have gotten the job. is there any doubt who called the offensive game plan ? it was pitiful , and demeaning to the players who saw it upclose

There had to have been some promises made in that meeting with Shep/Miles. Obviously the final decision comes down to the coach, but with Miles explaining next seasons offensive objectives, the wildcat probably was discussed at length.
I disagree. That is not the dynamic between a coach and a player, even more so a coach as successful as CLM. "Hey Shep, come back for your senior season and I promise to run the Wildcat for you bud!". I believe CLM talked some sense to Shep about what would be best for him as a person, as well as what the possibilities are for the football team next season, but I do not believe a "deal" was cut or a promise was made just to get Shep back to Baton Rouge...
