Ross Dellenger @RossDellenger This would mean QB Shea Patterson, a sophomore, is not eligible to transfer and play immediately, for those wondering... #LSU

Something tells me he'll never play in a bowl regardless

Players in Patterson's situation can apply for a waiver, which some have suggested will be granted without any trouble given the circumstances. If you have the opportunity to get a good QB with real SEC experience, you do it.

Lol good for him. Poetic justice for him and his family's behavior in the recruiting process. Live by the sword, die by it.

So is the bowl ban for this year and next year? Meaning if it was for say, next year and 2019 then Shea would be free to transfer? Only juniors are eligible.

I really don't understand the "DO NOT WANT" crowd. You really that Jaded over a players decision to play at another school? IF you were a top rated QB, what in the hell did LSU show you over the past 10 years, YES... that's the school that will help me become a great qb and ready for the NFL?

That is leaving out a lot of the story.

bunch of dumbasses. Shea makes us a legit title contender on Day 1. Those "Do not want" types will change their minds REAL quick.

I’m glad he can’t transfer, because it’s much more likely that he would’ve been Jimbo Fisher‘s first recruit at Texas A&M than transfer to LSU.

Self imposed bowl ban this year for a 6 - 6 team that might have gone to the New Orleans Bowl counts as Year 1 of the 2 year bowl ban? That is bogus.
Sanctions were low considered the violations.
