So, Shaq-like?

:not comparing him personally: but Shaq wasn't polished Offensively early in his LSU career. Could be argued that he never was

Thirteenth all-time leading scorer in the SEC. The fifth all-time leading scorer in NBA history. OK...well, whatever.

He said "polished". Shaq was not polished his FR year. He was strong and physical. He bulled his way into position and dunked over people. He would sometimes shoot a jump hook. None of that is polished. He was dominant, but not polished.

Will Phillips be able to do the same thing? He's currently 40 lbs lighter than Shaq as a FR.

I'm excited as heck that Phillips signed. He doesn't need to be Shaq to make this a great team.

The slate was blank not long ago & full today. If he can coach half as well as he recruits, we have a keeper !
