This could be good for a number of reasons. Shareef and JaVonte are good friends dating back to their time in high school. Shareef joining could entice JaVonte to stay another year and give LSU some much needed backcourt experience next season.

I can't see any reason for Smart to be leaving after this season.

Is Shaq with him? I think they’re having some kind of reunion tomorrow

Yea, Watford is the only one who should go. I could see Emmitt if his offensive game keeps coming along but it’s always tricky for the tweener types.

Objective eyes can see that Smart needs more time in college but im sure you remember that JaVonte entered his name after last season. Generally guys dont stay much longer after already testing the waters once.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Watford is ready either. IMO he's a little too slow for the NBA. But, he plays really hard and he's a pretty smart player so I think he can overcome that in the long run.

Honestly, I think Smart should be a 4 year guy like Smart. Emmitt is probably gonna be gone regardless considering he just had a baby.

None of our guys should leave early but I’m assuming Williams is a lock and Watford is 50/50 is think

Watford’s a late first in the 22-25 range in most mock drafts so he’ll probably go.

Watford is NBA ready now. I’m not sure what you guys are smoking but I’d like some. He’s 6’’9 /has 3 point range /can create on his own/can drive and finish / above average passer and the nba gives 0 fricks about defense. But what do I know?

What do any of us know? If we were actual NBA talent evaluators we wouldn't be posting about it on here. I personally don't think Watford has the speed for the NBA. But, if he proves me wrong I will be happy to admit it and congratulate him.

Javonte is not a NBA draft choice at this point in his career. Leaving school after this year would put him in the G League (at best) or in a 2nd tier overseas league.

Trendon is gone unless he gets injured or falls. He’s going 2nd round. It’s too early to be definite but he’ll probably be a 1st rounder if we make Sweet 16 or Elite 8 And he plays well. Emmitt isn’t even up there on mocks.

I don't think anyone on this team is ready for the NBA. Nonetheless, I'd be shocked if Smart, Williams, or Watford come back. Nature of the beast in today's world of college basketball.

I could see Smart and Williams playing international ball.
