Can you try it with a grey background rather than yellow? That way it isn't too loud.

I'll be happy if they had one uniform color for the SEZ. Its an awful mix of stucco and concrete.

They are, it just isn't finished.

I think the addition looks good overall, especially on the inside.
But there are a ton of "what the frick were they thinking" all over the exterior of the stadium.

In the appropriate font and colors...

[i]"I want to give you one point too, about winning. Winning is a thing that is inherent to how you were raised. It is something you carry with you for a lifetime. And to pretend that it is brought, or deposited, at a place.....and left.....it is not. It is always carried on by those participants and people that are there. PERIOD. Just, end of discussion." [i]

I hope so. But I've been monitoring it daily and it's been that way for a while now. It also appears they have removed all the equipment for applying stucco. Having the arches area stucco and the cross beams for the window area stucco but that's it. It looks awful next to the bare concrete.

That Tiger Eye looks awful, too abstract and out of context. Some of the other ideas are pretty cool on here.

why not have a shot of the stadium from where our team enters the field in the north endzone with "Welcome to Death Valley" somewhere on it.

Any thoughts (or direct knowledge) or what will be done with this huge chunk of white wall? Maybe SEC/National championship years painted on? Banners? Nothing?

A future portrait of Saban will go there.

Are there any actual plans to do anything like what's being proposed here? Like a Champions Square, etc???

Nothing has been announced. But the area seems perfect for some kind of "Champion's Square". The giant wall and concrete make for a perfect party zone.

I'd like to see:

-And may thy spirit live in us, FOREVER...

-LSU

-(tiger head logo)

-Big video screen

With the wording and logo in that same style as the champions plaza... dark brown and backlit.

Renderings say they will and it does look bad. If they somehow don't stucco it

I could get on board with this.

I like the ideas of the large tiger logo but putting something functional that other stadiums don't have could be very cool for TS.

Honest question. Who signs off on these designs? Why does it seem like everything we do to the outside of Tiger Stadium turns out so ugly? The only good looking part of the stadium is the north endzone since its been renovated.

I understand its not a finished product, but for the amount of money spent, its quite disappointing.

This is LSU though. Still no progress on the remaining stucco work today. One cherry picker left and its down.

Like what? Not trying to contradict you, I just can't think of anything that seems really that bad.

Holy crap that looks horrible!

Didn't the original plans call for an all glass exterior? Did they change due to a safety issue or did they just cut corners? Surely they won't just leave a giant ugly bare wall.
