funny I have been to lots of games at WM in the past 3 years and have never had a problem with the other fans. I would not have given us two cents chance of beating LSU and sure would not have talked crap afterwards. I bet if LSU would have won then I am sure a lot of these threads going on right now would not be here.

Of course I usually go with season ticket holders and am not sitting 20 yards deep in the stands.

The Arky people were good until the end of that game. Everyone for the most part was pretty hospitable before the game. Although, their definition of tailgating is sitting underneath one of those brand new tents that everyone seemed to have just bought while eating a bag of Doritos. The most obnoxious thing that I saw were those LSU Sucks, Les Miles Swallows shirts. Which, as expected, that joke just reached Little Rock so it's new to them.

But after the game, they were terrible. I've never gotten so many F you's. And they won. Sheesh. I'd walk by a group chanting F you LSU, stop and look at them, take a step forward, they'd stop, then I'd start walking again, and the chant would start again. On the walk back to our tailgate, I got to see an Arky fan try to choke his wife (she was wearing an LSU hat). It was quickly and swiftly taken care of, but come on. A group would pass by our tailgate, say nothing until they passed, then start yelling what I assume were obscenities.

ETA: I'm going to give Arky fans the benefit of the doubt until I can attend a game in Fayettesville and just assume that my experience was an anomaly.

Most of the fans around us thought there was no chance in hell they would win. And let me say they were nice. This guy Greg was sitting beside us and he was a hoot.

However, I didn't appreciate the smack talk that was only aimed at me, not my husband. Like they were scared to say something to him. I grew up in Arkansas, and I was really upset at the treatment I personally got.

Haha that is so true. I have family in LR so I went with them and a few Arkansas fans and even the Arkansas fans were laughing when people would walk ten feet past the yell you suck frick lsu. One guys yelled frick you to my uncle, he stopped said " I can promise you two things your messing with the wrong guy at the wrong time and I will kick your arse" and the guy instantly stopped.

then maybe you should have told them about when it was happening instead of dishing about it on a message forum. People tend to drink a lot at those games especially in the fourth quarter -- I am sure they had a few too many. Anything would have happened I pretty much assure you that you or them would have spent the night in county. So why would you want to play out something like this for a stupid ballgame?

We got the F you treatment all the way back to our car. Didn't know winning brought out the man in these people.

Two things:

I am a chick, I am not going to take on some drunk redneck.

I didn't dish the smack, I knew before I got to the game the possibility I would be leaving sad, so I DID NOT talk trash.

Hey we have a great stadium up in Fayetteville, too bad you guys have never got to play there.

It's no surprise our fans were quiet, we were expecting to be leaving 4-8. Not exactly a great season.

Lake Darbonne (sp?) is the best! We have always caught a box full of white perch (sorry, they're only called crappie below I-10 - haha) under the light pole by the boat launch on the Bernice side (opposite the Farmerville side).

I love how the nebraska jackass comes on the board talking shite. Shouldnt you be worrying about trying to win the shitty division you call the big 12 north?

Ps. Arkansas has the most millionaires per capita in the united states.

Is this something you would really brag about. Yes this is true but we also have the lowest middle class per capita income in the us at like 34 grand or so per year. I realize our cost of living is less but there is a lot that about arkansas that could be improved --- but after traveling a lot for training in my current job -- I have been to texas, oklahoma, Missouri and Ohio--- there is no other place I would rather live.....

It was in response to the deliverance comment. I blew a gasket. It doesnt help that Billy Bob Thornton directed the movie. He is from Malvern, AR. It may actually be half true.
