re: Settle an argument for me: Was this hit on Joey B in the Fiesta Bowl a blindside block?

It absolutely was a blindside block. It would have been perfectly legal in 1957. Nowadays, it's just a dirty play. And illegal.

It's possible that Joe actually died on that play, went to Heaven and spoke to God who sent him back to this life with some kind of grand purpose.

Today's lesson in karma:
Burrow is now a Super Bowl QB after his second year.
The punk that stood over him and taunted him is already out of football, has a son out of wedlock and is back to living in Waggaman.
Every now and then, the universe gets it right.

Joe will likely have CTE due to that hit. And you think it was "worth it"?

That's the romantic version imo. I think the legend of JB actually started in the 7 OT game against A&M in '18.
Both of those are romantic versions. It didn’t start anywhere in particular, unless you want to point to his birthday, or the day he committed to LSU.
