You should be ashamed for such ignorance. The man's hand went THROUGH the net and contacted the rim. That is fricking goaltending at every level. Seen it called MULTIPLE TIMES over the last 30 years. The rin was clearly bothered by the interference dumb insufferable douche.

most importantly, the guy who touched the rim and the other guy who slapped the backboard made the goal/stanchion shake. you could see the goal rocking back and forth slightly while the ball was in the air and about to hit the backboard.
yes, a player can touch the net and even stick his hand through the bottom of the rim, as long as he doesn't shake the rim, thus not affecting the shot. that wasn't the case here.

LSU got a fortunate call, but they deserved the win regardless. Every successful team gets some lucky breaks.

Once the ball is shot in the air for two or three points it does not matter where the ball is. You can't interfere with the rim in any way as the ball makes it way to the basket.
I've played the game for my entire life and it has been called at every level I've entire very seen. Ball is in the air; don't touch the rim or make it move or it is goaltending, period.
