Seriously guys what direction do you see this basketball program headed?

I just don't know I'm confused and think after a couple guys leave after this year we end up in the same position year after year. I know Jones is recruiting better and a half decent coach but really I see no heart from him or his players when it really counts.

Simmons and this class are a whole different ball game than Mickey and Martin. Mickey and Martin aren't nearly as polished and driven as what we have coming in. I am concerned though about jones in game coaching.

During JJ's first year LSU was known as scrappy team that wound never give up. What changed? Is it the players? JJ going through a mid life crisis? Just dont get it.

I say if Martin and Mickey come back because we'll actually have depth on the bench. Also Add Craig victor and the team won't be exhausted liked they looked tonight

I see a program dedicated to making the NIT most years under Johnny Jones. I truly don't expect much from our coaching staff. I am not hating. I just don't really care any more. Apathy pure and simple.

Oh I've watched Simmons and he is undeniably fantastic but JJ is not Calipari or even close and will this class make a run before he is One and Done? I'm thinking NOOOO!!

Johnny Jones can't hardly finish better than 9-9 in this weak sister conference. Any half way decent team could go 12-6. If anything, this conference saves us embarrassment.

Don't us expect to be a consistent tournament team under JJ. Guy just isn't a good coach. I imagine his recruiting will bring us good seasons every few years but nothing consistent.

That makes no sense. LSU is killing itself with the losses.
How do you lose by 15 at home to Tennessee? LSU has losses to Missouri, Miss. State, Tennessee and Auburn and two of those are at home. That's inexcusable. The conference is bad and LSU should be taking advantage and breezing through it. Instead, it's 10-7 in the league.

the conference is not bad. Every conference has 4/5 awful teams
