Y’all keep bitching about CMM but we’re lucky we even got a decent coach to come here with all the sanctions. Y’all needa chill and give the dude time

1) get the IARP decision as soon as possible to get that behind us. We are being negatively recruited against big time and the kinder it drags the worse it is perception wise.
2) get serious about the collective and start handing out the cash.
3) I do think he can sell playing time and a development plan for the kids
4) release the renderings and timeline of all the upgrades/ refurbishment of PMAC, practice facilities etc. kids do care about this stuff.
I think it can be turned around fairly quickly in this portal world, but they have a lot of work to do.

I was NEVER for firing Wade. You can look it up. I have previous posts / threads chastising our AD for getting rid of Wade. I thought it was a stupid, stupid, stupid, and premature move. I still do.
That said, he did it, and wrecked the program and all of its momentum. The overwhelming majority of coaches in the NCAA wouldn’t touch LSU with a 50-foot pool after the allegations/Wade debacle. Whoever took the job was undertaking one heck of an uphill battle.
McMahon took the challenge. We all (or anyone with a lick of common sense) knew this season was a goner prior to opening tip off. Support the guy for a few year. If you don’t have any improvement, then proceed with bitching. It’s way, way too early now.

I would love for him to succeed, but just because a coach had a good record in one conference does not mean it will carry over to a tougher conference. My concern is that the players who came with him who have played for him for years play extremely soft on defense. I know the competition is better, but even when we play crappy SEC teams they look the same on D.

Ok. I have a dumb question. Is there a damn deadline for these "sanctions" to be announced. Or can the committee drag this investigation out for the next 4 or 5 more years. Should be a deadline that everything concludes and the time starts ticking. This is hurting LSU athletics. Time for clock to start on any sanctions and get this behind us. How much more time is needed ? Announce the penalties or declare there will be no penalties. End the suspense. now.

BULL. shite.
No one picked LSU to finish at the bottom of the SEC. No one. Many more had them potentially reaching the NCAAT than being one of the worst teams in the league.
The “this season was a lost cause from jump” is revisionist bull shite to, and I still don’t know why, defend the absolutely poor job McMahon has doe this year.
He’s never played or coached at the major conference level until this season…and it is showing. He knew he had maxed out at Murray St last year (after a 13-13 record the prior season) and his best players were going to transfer out (as is the nature of the game today. So he struck while the iron was hot and took the LSU job because he knew a major conf job probably wasn’t going to come around again for at least a few years…maybe ever given how tough it is now to retain great players at the mid major level for more than a year or two. I don’t blame him. I would have too. But now it is LSU basketball that has to suffer.
Everyone talks about MSU’s great season last year (and it was). But I’m sure most don’t realize he also had the only .500 and losing seasons in the previous THIRTY FOUR years of Murray St. basketball. 34 years. Only two non winning seasons. McMahon had them both!! Then again, I doubt most would know that given we have at least a dozen posters a day telling us how he “built” Murray St
