It's a funny statement, but there is a small bit of truth in that. Why does Jarret Lee keep getting announced as the starter? Why does Dan Borne no longer announce when a new quarterback enters the game for LSU? This year is the only year since I have been attending LSU games, about 1982, that Borne doesn't announce when a new quarterback enters the game.

It's been discussed before. Even Alan Risher said it last night. In 2010, Jordan Jefferson was awful for the entire month of October, and Jarret Lee came off of the bench to rally LSU to touchdowns and come from behind victories. Still, Jordan Jefferson remained the starter for every game. This year, Jarret Lee was ranked in the top 20 nationally and #2 in the SEC for passing, still is, and was benched for two poor passes against the best defense the SEC has seen in a long time.

There will be idiots who boo. I won't. Our team will be on the cusp of kicking off the biggest game in Tiger Stadium history. THey all deserve cheerr and a standing ovation.

Its his last home game so even his haters should be happy he is about to graduate
(but they should cheer loud as possible for all seniors for the blood, sweat, and tears they put in it no matter who it is)

That kid's ego is big enough as it is. I hope no one cheers for him for the Senior Day ceremony.
If and when he makes a good play during the game, I'll cheer for him. So, in other words, I probably won't be cheering for him at all.
