Don't act like a Yankee. You should know better than to say something like that being a southerner. Every man needs to carry a gun. This world is wicked and you are not going to defend yourself with your fist when someone has a gun or knife on you.

I'm not a pro gun guy but if someone is trying to rob you and points a gun of any type at you... what choice do you have
the only choice unless you are suicidal is give the robber what they want and hope they don't shoot. I have a CCL, and carry a pistol at times, if someone already has a gun pointed at you it would be almost impossible to draw your weapon and shoot the other person without getting shot, what you see on TV doesn't really work when real bullets are involved.

hy are these athletes even carrying guns?
he shouldn't be going into a deal in an area where he feels he needs to carry a gun. Couldn't he have just met someone he trusted more and in a better area to sell an xbox? I mean he wasn't selling or buying crack or meth or anything, why the need to sell in a situation where a gun may be needed?

In LA your vehicle is an extension of your residence..
That's a common myth, in LA your vehicle has some constitutional protection, but nothing like your home. A warrant is required to search your home, your vehicle can be searched for only probable cause which is a pretty easy standard to meet. Things that are perfectly legal to do in your house can get you charged with public indecency if done in your car.
