If anything it was interference on the 2nd baseman. Game was over no matter what.

Ok. The ball was by the 2nd baseman and he had no play on the ball. He interfered with the runner. If name calling is your thing then that's cool.

he probably could have made a play but I guess he got spooked with the runner coming at him and didn't dive for it

It could have been called either way but wouldn't have mattered because the run would have still counted.

he saw the runner coming at him which prevented him from attacking the ball like he normally would have and then was catch in the classic airport "i'll go this way, you go that way" conundrum
