No, it really isn't.
ONCE AGAIN, we got a 7 last year and very arguably had the EASIEST regional.

A REGIONAL IS NOT THE CWS. A SUPER REGIONAL IS NOT THE CWS.
And we didn't go 0-2 in the CWS, we went 1-2. National seeding has little effect on the CWS itself.

For the 2nd time we didn't go 0-2 in the CWSD. We went 1-2. For the umteenth time seeding doesn't matter jack shite come CWS time because all the teams are pretty equual.
Lastly, and for the first time, a 4 seed (not national seed) from a regional won the CWS last year. Not to mention they won it by beating the LAST national seed, #8 Georgia. Big fricking deal on the seeding.
